Pros
Powerful scanner: Thanks to its cloud-powered scanner, Panda Cloud Antivirus can divert much of the heavy lifting to its servers. The antivirus program has consistently scored high marks in the AVComparatives protection tests, sitting in the top five with a 99.7 percent protection rate.
Lightweight: Panda is easy on the eyes and on the system consumption. There's very little to distract you, as there aren't many meaningful viral expositions for each scan result.
Cons
Bundling: Panda incorporates an opt-out toolbar, home page changes to Yahoo, and a search-engine takeover. It's an old practice and not a surprise in freeware but a nuisance nevertheless.
Dated design: Graphics look rasterized and unfit for modern resolutions. The user flow could also use some polish. For example, finishing a scan leaves the user hanging, with no prompt to close the scan window. Some icons do not work. The trash bin, for instance, does not reflect the actual recycle bin's contents, and the link takes you to the original scanner.
Bottom Line
Panda Cloud Antivirus has its share of bugs and dated features, but its primary function remains robustly capable and on a par with modern scanners. Though it lacks somewhat in meaningful user experience, Panda succeeds in performance by keeping your PC protected. You'll be keeping it minimized anyway.
